Tems, Burna Boy and Tobe Nwigwe get Nominated for the 65th Grammy Awards

Tems, Burna Boy, and Tobe Nwigwe have been nominated for the Grammy Awards, announced on November 15, 2022.

The Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the 65th Grammy Awards, including the 3 above-mentioned Artists.

Tems has been nominated for two (2) awards. “Best Melodic Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song” categories for her song with Future and Drake- “Wait For U.”

Burna Boy also got two nominations at the 2023 Grammy Awards. His newest album, Love Damini, got nominated for “Best Global Music Album”. A category he is not new to, after winning it last year with his 2020 album, ‘Twice As Tall’. His single “Last Last” was also nominated for the “Best Global Music Performance” award.

Tobe Nwigwe, who is of Nigerian descent, has also been nominated as “Best New Artist” for the 65th Grammy Awards. The rapper, singer, and actor based in the United States has been recognized for his outstanding artistry.

Tems, Burna Boy and Tobe Nwigwe are indeed the epitome of hard work among their peers in the music industry.

However, Beyoncé leads all announced nominees with nine nominations, Kendrick Lamar with eight, while Adele and Brandi Carlile are tied at seven.

The 2023 Grammys will air live on Sunday, Feb. 5, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
