Soot Africa’s Top Song Picks For The Week

From the broken hearted lover boy to lovers of hit Afrobeats remixes, Soot Africa has picked out top five new songs that will keep everyone satisfied. What’s a new week if we don’t hop on another train to Soot Africa’s top song picks once again?

Let’s get into it .

Maria – Magixx

From one of Mavin’s most talented signees, another love song hits the streets. Magixx has unfailingly kept us in our feels since his debut. With the latest song on Soot Africa’s top song picks, we can’t deny that Magixx is a true born lover boy.

Maria is a sweet, enticing song that keeps you enraptured from beginning to the end. The young artist fearlessly declares his unending love for Maria in this incredibly romantic song and I’m all for it.

Unavailable Remix – Davido, Musa Keys X Latto

Last week we saw the first Unavailable remix, this week we got a second. The DMW king seems to be having a great time milking this hit song. While I must applaud the international collab, I was wary of how Latto would sound on this song.

Even though Unavailable didn’t need a remix, this didn’t sound half as bad as I expected. However, don’t take my word for it. Listen to it and let us know what you think!

Fear Love – Yemi Alade

For one who doesn’t give us new releases like before, Yemi Alade did better than expected on this track. The third song on Soot Africa’s top song picks is Fear Love, a Yemi Alade classic. Following the usual Yemi Alade song, this track uses fast beats and quirky lyrics to deliver a catchy chorus. I may not be the biggest fan of this song, but if you’re a Yemi Alade fan, you’ll love it. Take a look.

Higher – Patoranking

I don’t know about you, but I’m yet to listen to a bad Patoranking song. First of all, Higher sounds like something Davido would definitely sing. However, Patoranking delivers an equally stunning vocal performance.

Secondly, if you’re used to Patoranking’s songs, you’ll know that he never goes anywhere without his choir. In a similar fashion, this song employs lots of choral vocal backdrops, which make it sound even better.

Welcome 2 My Strip – Unknown T ft Odumodublvck

Where are my rap enthusiasts? The last song on Soot Africa’s top song picks appeals to the more hard core song enthusiasts. In an unusual yet pleasing collaboration, Unknown T features Odumodublvck on Welcome 2 My Strip. I heard this once, and it’s safe to say they went hard on their verses.

Both rappers did not deviate from their typical rap styles, however they managed to deliver a cohesive sound. You will not be disappointed.

And that brings us to the end of Soot Africa’s top song picks for the week. We had a little bit of something for everyone in here. The lover boy, the rap enthusiast, and the remix lovers.

If any of your favorite songs didn’t make it to the mix, leave a comment and let us know! But before then, stay glued to Soot Africa for all the music updates you can’t find anywhere. Until next time!
