The newly signed Lagos-based NATIVE Records (Nigerian record label) Artist, Smada releases his much anticipated single “YE Anthem” featuring King Perry and Toyé. Teezee, co-president of Native Records, announced the signing of Odumodu Blvck across all social media platforms on November 29, 2022. He is the second artist signed to Native Records, following the announcement of the signing of Odumodu Blvck on November 23, 2022.

Smada is a fast-rising music star who appeals more to the Gen-Z audience. However, Over the years, he has gathered quite a several organic followership for himself on social media especially on TikTok, where his videos have amassed close to 2 million likes. Also, he sent the Internet into a frenzy when posters and merch with the words “Where is Smada?” began popping up around Lagos this past month in anticipation of his new single.

In addition, He is known as the artist who teases his audience with snippets of his intended releases, which have been used on many platforms to create content.
