MUSIC BUSINESS ACADEMY FOR AFRICA CELEBRATES MILESTONES AND UNVEILS PEPPLE  STREET ALBUM

Music Business Academy for Africa (MBA) is thrilled to unveil its 2023 cohort. The company also shares updates on the highly anticipated release of the “pepple Street” album. Founded by the visionary and passionate entrepreneur, Godwin Tom, MBAA continues to transform lives. It nurtures the next generation of African music industry leaders.

Godwin Tom, an accomplished music executive and philanthropist, established the academy. He did so with a mission to equip aspiring music professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving music business landscape. His dedication to the growth of the African music industry has led to the creation of an ever evolving a Music  Business Master Class. The “pepple street” album is also a testament to this.

The 2023 cohort of the Music Business Academy for Africa has over 300 students and 10 renowned record labels. The academy offers comprehensive courses in music production, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it empowers students to navigate the complexities of the music industry. The collaborations with leading record labels have certainly provided invaluable opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and build connections within the industry.

In celebration of the  cohort and the academy’s ongoing success, MBA will release the “pepple Street” album. It is certainly a testament to the academy’s commitment to nurturing raw talent and fostering creativity. The album features a diverse lineup of nine(9) artists from the MBA community, showcasing their unique sounds and styles. The “pepple Street” album is more than just a musical project. It chiefly embodies the spirit of unity, growth, and collaboration that defines the Music Business Academy for Africa.

The first single off the album, titled “Different Feeling,” will be released on the 8th of March 2024. After which the full album release will be on the 24th of March. Furthermore, the title, “People Street,” represents the vibrant, bustling heart of African communities where music is born and thrives. It encapsulates the energy, resilience, and creativity of the African spirit, which has always been the driving force behind the continent’s rich musical heritage.
