21-year-old Busola Oluchi Gabrielle Akerele, with her stage name Sola, stands as a beacon among singer-songwriters. Hailing from Ondo state and raised in Lagos, her vocal artistic expression has been evident since childhood. Additionally, being fearless on stage, she consistently led in school plays and cultural dances. Drawing inspiration from her multicultural background, Sola’s music features a distinctive sound, delivering a spontaneous message that responds to life with love and empowers youth with unfiltered truth.
A little over a decade ago, Sola ventured into a new chapter, choosing Indiana as her home. After earning her degrees in Computer Information Technology and Entrepreneurship Innovation from Purdue University, Sola has become a vibrant and influential figure in the community.
