It’s been more than 2 years since Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike released his debut album, Boo of the Booless. The talented singer, songwriter, and actor released his sophomore album, “The Brother’s Keeper” on the 25th of August, 2022.
The 29-year-old singer had earlier released a track “Hard to Find” ft Flavour off his new album. There was also a social media challenge trend with this track. A perfect prep to the album release if you ask me.
Chike’s New Album, The Brother’s Keeper Tracklist, and credits
The question on everyone’s lips after Chike announced the release date for his new album is, “How will he top the quality of his first album?”
Chike, however, makes it known via his social media platforms that this album is a reflection of life after the successful run of his debut album. Boo of the Booless had the entire country on lockdown during the lockdown, especially with the remix of “If you no love me” ft. Mayorkun. The success of the album also continued into last year, after the remix of the track “Running” ft. Simi was released.
The project features a neo-soul and Afro-pop singer from South Africa, Azana. The King of modern highlife, Flavour also appears on the project as well as the exceptional new school rapper, Ycee. See the full list of credits and each tracklist on this album below.
Kudos to everyone who worked on the successful release of this project. The producers, DeeYasso, Tee-Y Mix, Killertunes, Echo the Guru, Louddaaa, and Sagzy are also not left out. This is also a big shout-out to Ogaga “Ogagus” Sakpaide as the A&R of this album.
